In Jan of 2021, I was hired to rebrand Gong.

Back then, there were no internal creatives on the team yet, and it soon became apparent that Gong quickly needed to begin building an in-house design agency. While interviewing candidates, I partnered with Moving Brands agency to commence a brand audit and begin exploring designs for a new face of Gong, a new mission statement and new core values that would soon define us. The work from Moving Brands was exceptional. Over the next several months, through a close collaboration between our growing internal team and the agency, we launched an all new Gong brand and website that better showcase Gong as the global unicorn it is today. In the same year, we ran a Super Bowl spot

The spot saw 69% unaided awareness and boosted sight traffic 61% for the week of airing. Results were slightly better than the well-known Coinbase “floating barcode” ad. An integrated campaign followed with social, PR and digital efforts that drove almost $4MM in pipeline, a 26% increase in Linkedin follower growth, and well over a million impressions across social and 275k ConnectedTV views.

Worked with Barrett SF to create this spot for the 2022 Super Bowl.

A Bold New Website

For the website, we featured a hero module showing a graphical representation of audio track in Gong. If you rollover the call activity “bubbles”, a message pops up warning you of a risk in your deal. This is followed by an AI induced Recommendation message, telling you how to address that risk, so you close your deal faster. Also featured throughout the site is a bold style of custom illustration, plus animations of products screens showing the user visually how the product works.
